If your courses follow a conventional structure and you do not need unusual integrations or learner flows, a well-customised Moodle or Open edX installation is often the faster and more cost-effective path. If your learning model is genuinely different, if you are building a commercial course marketplace, or if you need deep integration with proprietary systems, a custom build gives you a lot more freedom. For most LMS projects, we use a dedicated video hosting service (Vimeo, Wistia, or Cloudflare Stream) rather than serving video directly from the application server. This gives you adaptive bitrate streaming, global CDN delivery, DRM protection if needed, and proper analytics on watch time and drop-off points. We integrate it cleanly into the LMS so learners never know the video is coming from a different service.

Yes. All platforms we build are fully responsive and tested on real mobile devices. For organisations with a large mobile learner base or content that works especially well in an app context (short lessons, offline access, push notifications for reminders), we can also build dedicated iOS and Android companion apps that connect to the same backend as the web platform.

Yes. We have migrated content and learner records from many platforms including older Moodle versions, Teachable, Thinkific, TalentLMS, and custom-built systems. The complexity depends on how well-structured your current data is, but we always build a migration plan that preserves completion history, certificates, and user progress so learners do not lose their record of what they have already done.
